Mais qu\u2019est-ce que la sieste et comment la rendre r\u00e9ellement r\u00e9paratrice ?<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>La sieste, souvenir de nos premiers jours<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durant les premi\u00e8res semaines de notre vie, nous passons 70% du temps \u00e0 dormir. Il s\u2019agit du <b>sommeil polyphasique<\/b>. Un reliquat de ces phases de sommeil serait notre hypovigilance du d\u00e9but de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, <!--moremoment propice pour s\u2019adonner \u00e0 la sieste.-->moment propice pour s\u2019adonner \u00e0 la sieste.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Les bienfaits de la sieste<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La sieste n\u2019est pas r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux enfants ou aux personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es. Certaines entreprises de pointe installent des salles de repos et de relaxation dans leurs bureaux. On le comprend mieux lorsqu\u2019on sait que la sieste :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Am\u00e9liore la m\u00e9moire<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Augmente la concentration<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Consolide les apprentissages<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">D\u00e9veloppe la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Am\u00e9liore l\u2019humeur<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Diminue la pression sanguine<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Am\u00e9liore la pression art\u00e9rielle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Combien de temps faire la sieste ?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si la sieste n\u2019a que des avantages, pourquoi nous r\u00e9veillons-nous parfois vaseux ? Sans doute car la sieste s\u2019interrompt durant un <b>cycle de sommeil<\/b>. Celui-ci dure 90 minutes et comporte 5 phases, la derni\u00e8re \u00e9tant le sommeil paradoxal. Mieux vaut donc se r\u00e9veiller entre deux cycles. Le pire moment \u00e9tant d\u2019\u00e9merger durant une phase de sommeil profond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019ensemble des sp\u00e9cialistes recommandent la <b>sieste de 20 minutes<\/b>. Cette dur\u00e9e permet de profiter d\u2019un sommeil r\u00e9cup\u00e9rateur, tout en \u00e9tant suffisamment br\u00e8ve pour ne pas d\u00e9passer la phase 2 du sommeil, ce qui permet un r\u00e9veil rapide.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Le bon moment pour faire la sieste<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Id\u00e9alement, une sieste se d\u00e9roule <b>l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi<\/b>, entre 13 et 16 heures. Plus tard, celle-ci risque de perturber le sommeil nocturne. Nous ressentons naturellement une baisse de r\u00e9gime vers 14h. L\u2019attention baisse, les paupi\u00e8res clignent. Ce moment,entre \u00a014 et 15 heures, correspondrait d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 un pic des accidents de la route !<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>La sieste dans de bonnes conditions<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019id\u00e9al est bien s\u00fbr de s\u2019allonger pour faire la sieste, mais l\u2019on peut aussi la pratiquer assis. D\u00e9chaussez-vous, d\u00e9tendez-vous et mettez \u00e9ventuellement des boules Quies. Ensuite, fermez les yeux et expirez lentement. D\u00e9tendez la m\u00e2choire et <b>visualisez<\/b> toutes les parties de votre corps.
